We told the Mayor we would discuss a date at tonight’s meeting and get back to him. <br /> <br /> Conservation officer Joe Giarusso said both gates are opened and the lake is lowering as expected. He said October 24th realistically it should be pretty low.<br /> <br /> Dave stressed continuity has been an ongoing problem through the years. <br /> <br /> The major issue was lake testing. The mayor suggested we form a committee to work with the city and its agencies to acquire grants if available and meet on a monthly basis so we can keep open communication with the Forest Lake Association and the City.<br /> <br /> We discussed whether it would be better to do in-house testing versus hiring someone,<br /> and when the testing should be, weekly, monthly or quarterly.<br /> <br /> Joe Giarusso will be getting prices on comprehensive testing on the lake and then it can be determined from there the next course of action. <br /> <br /> The Mayor suggested the working committee can meet in the second floor conference room of city hall.<br /> <br /> We will be meeting with the Mayor and Joe Giarusso again on Thursday October 8th.</div>
